"WHAT DO YOU CRAVE?"
Meet A Sensible Theatre Co. A fresh, Seattle-based entertainment company passionate about making queer content mainstream.
It’s what we love to do, and it’s all we do.
Imagine walking into an event space…
Just close your mind’s eye and join me on this journey.
You grab a cocktail, meet some people, a little kick-ball-change. Boop Boop.
Twenty minutes later, you hear heels. Eight pairs of them, belonging to a pack of decked-to-the-nines performers
All of a sudden, music begins and the phalanx of performers erupts into a fury of choreography.
And then, as they turn in unison, giant wooden doors are pulled back to reveal another room.
Another room about ten times the size of your current cocktail situation.
The dancers form a circle around an able-bodied circus performer who happens to be holding a giant metal Cyr ring.
He jumps on the ring and begins circling the space, spinning inside the 6-foot contraption.
He ends his gyro number and throws focus to a burlesque performer standing on the balcony of the second level.
He leaps up and suspends in mid-air, sideways, supporting himself from the balcony railing,
and slowly drops from the second story.
He makes his way to the center of the giant wooden floor
and continues with a burlesque act that leaves everyone breathing heavily.
He throws focus to a woman who appeared from nowhere in a cloud of smoke,
wearing a hand-sewn 8-foot dress in the shape of a Lily.
The audience is divided in half from her slowly processing to the front of the room,
and she leaves the guests wanting more after a beautiful burlesque ballet number.
She throws focus to the top of the stairway where we see our emcee for the evening,
holding a microphone, poised in heels, ready to welcome you to the night of your life.

We create experiences.
Ones that capture the imagination, ones that defy expectations, and ones that allow you to feel comfortable and accepted.
We design our experiences to lead with love and involve every aspect of inclusion along the way.
We advise our guests to ‘wear what makes them feel most beautiful,’
and encourage them to take pictures and videos to share with their friends and loved ones.
and we’re gearing up for our inaugural theatrical production at ACT Theatre, downtown. June 15th – July 8th, 2018.
And very soon, curating all the entertainment for The GSBA’s EQUALUX Gala in November.
