Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and fiercely devoted to ‘new works,’ he’s been lucky enough to work with some of the most creative and generous artists at The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, ACT, Showtunes Theatre Company, Contemporary Classics, Stumptown Stages, and The Endangered Species Project. Jared recently moved to New York City and is living the bi-coastal life.

about paul

Originally from the greater Seattle area. He moved to New York at 18 and after 8 years of life lessons, professionally working, living and kickball-changing he’s back in Seattle. Paul is very thankful to have had the opportunity to work with the 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Nickelodeon, Broadway Across America and Networks on Tour.

  JOEY CHAPMAN   Raised in the Greater Puget Sound area, Joey received a BA in Theatre Arts from Western Washington University. His board member experience includes serving as President of the Rain City Soccer Club (2012), representing gay and lesbian soccer teams across the Seattle area. He’s currently an Account Executive with Encore Media Group (Encore Arts Programs / City Arts Magazine) and has previous marketing experience with the 5th Avenue Theatre, KVOS TV12, 104.3 KAFE, 97.3 KBSG, and Claire VG Thomas Theatre. Joey has been together and married with his husband Chris for over 13 years.

  STEPHAINE LEE   Stephanie Lee first met Paul Flanagan in 7th grade, and despite an unfortunate incident with flying scissors, they became best of friends and have been getting into sensible adventures ever since. Stephanie is thrilled to be supporting Paul and Jared through this endeavor, and proud to bring her background experience in non-profit marketing and event planning to the board. Stephanie is currently the Managing Director of the Utah Royals, part of the National Women’s Soccer League.

With over 13 years of graphic design experience, Brenden has worked professionally in book publishing, architecture, design studios large and small, and in the non-profit arts. While her flair for the creative and knack for hilarity brought her to where she is, it's her dedication to her communities, critical thinking, and her ability to speak from the heart that keeps Alanna thriving. Alanna proudly works for the Greater Seattle Business Association - through which she was first introduced to A Sensible Theater Co.! Under Alanna’s leadership, the GSBA’s Young Professionals with Pride program has flourished, allowing her to marry her passion for connecting people to each other with the exciting world of event planning. Alanna is thrilled to be a part of the ASTC team and bring her warmth and contagious energy with her! Come say hello!
